Get the latest temperature, wind, and snow data from over 100,000 global weather stations with our "Weather Stations" map overlay.

This overlay is great for:

  • Viewing current and past temperatures.
  • Tracking current and past wind speeds.
  • Seeing how much snow fell at a remote weather station.
  • Knowing the current snow depth and how it has changed over the past week.
Most weather stations are owned and operated by national, regional, and local governments. These stations are aggregated by Synoptic Data. We then show both the raw data from each station as well as other calculated numbers like estimated snowfall (which is the amount of liquid produced by the snow multiplied by the snow-to-liquid ratio).

Getting Started

  1. Tap the "Maps" tab.
  2. Tap the overlay button.
  3. Tap "Weather Stations".
  4. Select any chip at the top of the screen.
  5. Tap any station to view current and historical data.
