Heading into the backcountry?
Download and save high-resolution satellite and terrain base maps in the OpenSnow app to see your exact location on the map, even while offline and without cell service.
- Go to Maps
- Tap the three dots (...) button in the top left side of the map.
- Tap "Download Offline".
- Adjust the area and tap "Download Offline".
- Name the map and tap "Save".
You can then add additional maps or edit/delete current maps by tapping on the three dots (...) button again, and tapping on "Download Offline".
This will pull up an "Offline Maps" screen, where you can either tap "Edit" in the top right corner to edit or delete your current maps, or tap on the (+) button in the bottom right corner to add a new offline map.
