Our story is fairly simple. We wanted to create the best weather forecasts for the mountains, period.

This began when Joel Gratz and Andrew Murray created OpenSnow in 2011 to provide local commentary and automated data to skiers and riders to help them find the deepest powder. OpenSnow has since grown to become the go-to resource for millions of outdoor enthusiasts around the world.
